Principles of Aircraft Servicing
Kharkov State Aircraft Manufacturing Company has always put special emphasis on the technical support and maintenance of the aircraft that the company produces. Lately, as KSAMC began to sell more An-140 aircraft to different operators, this part of the company's work has become the main focus of attention. Perfectly understanding the needs of aircraft operators, KSAMC offers not just an airplane but the integrated product and provides the full cycle of works associated aircraft manufacturing, marketing, and technical servicing and support during the operation.
Pavel Naumenko, the general director of KSAMC, once said: "We shall never deliver the aircraft to the operator unless we are one hundred percent sure that we can provide the integrated and all-inclusive system of technical support. These are not some idle words, this is our philosophy. The whole system of aircraft technical support and maintenance was created on the basis of this philosophy. Only if we prove that our airplanes are the most effective in operation in actual economic conditions of Russia and Ukraine we shall be able to win the competition with aircraft manufacturers of the Western countries".
Kharkov State Aircraft Manufacturing Company has designed and implemented the program of aircraft servicing, which includes: technical support and maintenance of the aircraft, deliveries of spare parts, modernization, organization and equipping of maintenance bases, flight and engineering personnel training, provision with technical documentation and vendor items maintenance bases.
The program of operational support is based upon the following:
- close working relations with the designers and developers of the aircraft (ANTC Antonov) and purchased aircraft parts;
- close working relations with the suppliers of the purchased aircraft parts;
- trained and certified KSAMC personnel;
- certified quality assurance system adopted by KSAMC;
- complete certified KSAMC manufacturing facilities for aircraft assemblies and spare parts for them;
- complete certified KSAMC lab facilities for research and analysis of efficiency of the purchased aircraft parts and materials used for aircraft manufacturing;
- certified KSAMC training center for flight officers of aircraft operators.
