On the 10th of May 2007, at the meeting General Director of KSAMC Pavel Naumenko introduced his successor, Sergei Zadorozhniy, who was appointed the acting General Director by the order of Minister of Industrial Policy of Ukraine on the 8th of May. Earlier Pavel Naumenko resigned on his own will due to the expiration of his contract and due to health reasons.
Sergei Zadorozhniy, an experienced manager in the field of aircraft manufacturing, is well known at the company: before his new appointment he headed the Procurement Department of KSAMC for two years and a half, earlier he was the Director of TORA aviation repair plant, which is an organization department of KSAMC

A conference of KSAMC work collective was held on March 30, 2007. During the conference obligations’ fulfillment due to the collective agreement of 2005-2006 was summed up and the agreement between the administration and work collective for 2007-2011 was concluded

Ukrainian parachute jumpers set up a new record in honor of Kharkov aviation workers. On the day of the 80-year jubilee of KSAMC a group record in “big formation of the group FS acrobatic” class was set up in Gostomel aerodrome near Kyiv, which belongs to Antonov design bureau – a grid consisting of 50 parachute jumpers was laid in free fall. The sportsmen devoted their record to the 80-year jubilee of KSAMC.

Kharkov aviation plant celebrates its 80 year anniversary. As a part of the jubilee celebration program the Door Open Day took place. The exposition in the aviation museum as well an open-air exhibition of aircraft produced at KSAMC was opened for the guests of the enterprise.
After an 80-years path in the “big“aviation history the Kharkov aviation workers have a worthy market position. During the period from 2001 to 2006 KSAMC delivered ten Àn-140 and Àn-140-100 aircraft to the Ukrainian and Azerbaijanian customers, one Àn-74ÒÊ-300, one Àn-72P, one Àn-74Ò-200À, as well as three An-140 aircraft built jointly with HESA (Iran) and Aviacor Jsc. (Russian Federation) aviation plants, produced subassemblies for the final assembly of the first two prototypes and series An-148 aircraft. During this period the KSAMC’s backlog increased more than 28 times. Kharkov-made aircraft found their customers in the Middle East and Mediterranean markets, in the other countries around the world – Arabian Republic Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Laos, gained access to receptive CIS market. Today contracts for 11 An-74 aircraft in various modifications, 6 An-140-100 aircraft and 30 wing center sections for the An-148 aircraft are activated.

KSAMC delegation took part in the ceremony of the delivery of the fist An-140 regional aircraft assembled at the Aviacor Jsc. (Russian Federation). The Launch customer – Yakutia Airlines –ordered three An-140 aircraft. The delivery of the second aircraft is planned at the end of 2006, and the third plane is to be delivered in the early 2007. Aircraft are finance leased through Financial Leasing Company (Russian Federation) for 15 years. Moreover, the Government of the Saha Republic (Yakutia) signed a letter of intend for purchase of four additional aircraft of this type in 2007.

In the Nearest Future Russian Airlines Will Receive 32 An-140-100s: An Agreement between Participants of the Russian-Ukrainian Project Is Signed in London.
July 17th, 2006 – at the first day of the Farnborough Airshow 2006 the leasing company Ilyushin Finance Co. JSC and “Aviacor-aviation plant” JSC held a joint press conference with participation of KSAMC General Director Pavel Naumenko, Antonov Chief Designer Dmitry Kiva, and Samara region Governor Konstantin Titov. At the press conference the parties signed a General Agreement for delivery and after-sale support of An-140-100 turboprops. Under the agreement Samara based Aviacor will deliver 25 An-140-100s to IFC within the next five years.
